The flexible linear transfer system Mikron Multistep is predestinated for the economic production of small and middle sized series because of the combination of flexibility and efficiency.
The 3 main characteristics are: 1. time chip-to-chip under 1 seconde
(reverse turret - switch -forward turret)
2. unlimited 5-side machining
3. modular, all time extendable mounting
the parts loading is done by the integrated charge and discharge modul.
1 master modul and 1 slave modul each with 2 tool holder discs.
each working modul has 2 independant spindles. The part is load alternately to the working spindles, so that the tool can be changed at one spindle in the time where the other spindle is working.
